Boys and Girls Clubs of North Mississippi “Escapes” with $1,500
Specialty Orthopedic Group hosts escape room fundraiser
TUPELO, Miss. (April 26, 2017) – Specialty Orthopedic Group, in partnership with Paradox Games and Escape Rooms and iHeart Media-Tupelo, recently hosted GAME ON, an escape room event benefiting Boys and Girls Clubs of North Mississippi (BGCNMS).
“We are thrilled with the response we had for the escape room fundraiser. Boys and Girls Clubs of North Mississippi is an incredible organization, and we are delighted to assist with their mission by raising awareness and funds,” said Emily Addison, Director of Marketing and Community Outreach for Specialty Orthopedic Group.
Specialty Orthopedic Group presented GAME ON, and escape room event, March 26 – 31. Groups of six to ten people registered online, and used a special event promotional code to ensure 25% of proceeds were allocated to the fundraiser. With over 100 participants, as well as private contributions, the event raised $1,500 for Boys and Girls Clubs of North Mississippi.
“Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi is honored that Specialty Orthopedic Group selected us to be the beneficiary of this event,” said Zell Long, Chief Executive Officer for BGCNMS. “We appreciate everyone who supported us by participating and having fun! All funds will be used to continue the excellent services provided to the hundreds of youth we serve every day.”
It is the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Serving North Mississippi since 1996, the organization reaches more than 2,000 youth annually through clubhouse locations in Tupelo, Oxford, Ripley, and New Albany.

Paradox Games and Escape Room features themed rooms that look like movie sets. Each room has a scenario the players have to figure out by hunting around the room, finding clues, and solving puzzles and riddles to “escape”.
