Plan an escape, help Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi
By William Moore
TUPELO – Paradox Escape Rooms has partnered with Specialty Orthopedic Group to create a fun fundraiser to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi.
When either of the North Gloster Street business’s two big escape rooms are booked next week (March 26-31), the Boys & Girls Clubs will get 25 percent of the price, about $25 per person.
Groups of six to 10 people are placed in a room and have 60 minutes to find the clues or decipher riddles to figure out how to escape. The solution requires a combination of deductive skills, problem-solving and teamwork.
“There is a six-person minimum for each room, and you have to book them at least 24 hours in advance,” said SOG marketing director Emily Addison. “Most folks want to go in a group anyway. It’s perfect for youth groups, small groups at church or even athletic teams.”
The rooms are available every day from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. For more information or to book a room, go to paradoxtupelo.com. In order to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs, use the promo code BGC17 when booking.
“Boys and Girls Clubs of North Mississippi is a tremendous asset to our community,” said SOG chief executive officer Sparky Luster. “We are honored to host this event. In doing so, we hope to raise awareness about the local Boys & Girls Clubs, as well as raise funds to help them with their mission.”
The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi operates clubhouses in New Albany, Oxford and Ripley and has two locations in Tupelo.
“We are so appreciative that they wanted to give back and chose our organization,” said BGCNMS marketing director Lucia Randle.
